221 Years Ago Today, The Greatest Nation Was Formed
The oldest federal constitution in existence was framed by a convention of delegates from twelve of the thirteen original states in Philadelphia in May 1787, Rhode Island failing to send a delegate. George Washington presided over the session, which lasted until September 17, 1787. The draft (originally a preamble and seven Articles) was submitted to all thirteen states and was to become effective when ratified by nine states. It went into effect on the first Wednesday in March 1789, having been ratified by New Hampshire, the ninth state to approve, on June 21, 1788. (Infoplease)
As Illegitimate President, I commend all Americans to take some time this week to read some portion of the Constitution, or of the Bill of Rights. Do not be intimidated by the length or language of the Constitution -- it comparable in length to a long poem, and shorter than a typical short story. It is written in plain english, rather than complicated legalese. It states simply what it intends to say.
Take, for instance, Article 1, Section 1:
All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
Simple, and to the point! Some things to note about this section:
All legislative powers are granted. Granted by whom? By the people, who are forming this government, and who are banding together via this Constitution and delegating certain specific responsibilities to the new government. The government does not in and of itself possess rights to legislate or rule the people -- the people are granting specific responsibilities to the government, and one of these powers is to legislate. Section 8 defines the specific, narrow subjects in which this legislation is allowed.
Secondly, the legislative powers are vested in Congress, composed of the House and Senate. The President is not named here, and is granted no legislative authority.
This is an absolutely critical point to understand, because the other Illegitimate President would have you believe that he can create law. That he can pass Executive Orders that are law. That he can form an agency, and that agency can create laws, regulations, or codes that must be followed. But those laws and codes are just as illegitimate as he is, and have no constitutional (or legal) legitimacy.
And as the Constitution is an agreement between we the people and those in which we have delegated authority, the minute they leave the bounds which we have defined, they are no longer acting within their official capacity, and are like an ice cream man attempting to give traffic tickets to speeders and jaywalkers, and who enters one person's house and takes their money to pay for the ice cream given away to someone else. They have no authority to do what they are doing, and their actions do not have the force of law. In short, they become criminals and tyrants.
Please, my fellow Americans, I implore you to become familiar with our Constitution, and hold our representatives accountable to their Oath of Office. The President's is defined in Article II, Section 1:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Should Americans support anything the President wants?
Bennett made that declaration at the Smithsonian, in an interview with CNSNews.com. At first, I was pleased that he would offer such fealty to me, but it turned out he was actually talking Obama.
So, I wept a little, but then I re-read what he said, and became shocked and appaled at the sentiment expressed in the interview. I wondered if Bennett has been paying any attention whatsoever to what Obama has been doing, or if he's only ever listened to the sound bites and speeches Obama reads (that are written by other people!). I also have to wonder if Bennett even knows what a president is supposed to do! Assuming that you may not know what the role of the President is in these United States, I will explain it a bit. It's described in Article 2 of the Constitution.
Section 1: Qualifications and oath of office. Obama pretty much ignored this section, and his first official act upon being elected was to screw up the Oath: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." He then proceeded to trample all over the Constitution.
Section 2 : Civilian Power over Military, Cabinet, Pardon Power, Appointments
- The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States. Note: Article 1 grants power to call the armed forces and militia into service to Congress, not to the President.
- The President may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices,
- Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
- Make treaties, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur.
- Nominate ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, who will then be confirmed by the Senate.
- The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.
Section 3: State of the Union, Convening Congress
- The President shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient;
- The President may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper;
- The President shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers;
- The President shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,
- The President shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
Article 2 finishes with Section 4, explaining how to remove the President from office. I hope we get to test it out, soon!
So there you go, the 11 duties of The President. Section 7 of Article 1 adds that The President signs or vetoes bills passed by the house and senate. Anything the President does that is not specifically authorized by The Constitution is a blatant usurpation of power, unconstitutional, illegal, and without the force of law.
So let's go back to Tony's statement, and see how delusional it is:
“I love everything he’s done and everything he’s doing."
Personal opinion, he's welcome to it.
"I think we should give him all-out support for anything he wants to do."
While this is also a personal opinion, it is wrong, and the basis of support for every tyrant who's ever lived. The president does not deserve nor merit support for anything he wants to do, only for those things that are just, constitutional, and secure the liberty and security of the people. So far as I am aware, Barry is doing nothing to promote freedom and justice, but only actions to strengthen government's grip on the lives of every citizen.
"We should all help."
Help what, enslave ourselves? No thanks!
"He’s giving our country back to us, and that’s the laws of the land – the citizens own the country.”
Obama is not only not giving the country back, he is taking the citizens from country, and the country from the citizens! Obama cares not one whit for the laws of the land. In March, he began issuing signing statements, declaring that he may or may not execute the law he is in the process of signing, and that no one should pay any attention to former President G. W. Bush's signing statements without first consulting with his Attorney General. This is the exact opposite of taking "Care that the Laws be faithfully executed," and a gross abuse of power.
He sent his buffoon Todd Stern to Bonn to promise to the socialist nations of the world that he will hamstring U.S. productivity, and allow foreign nations to determine our industrial capacity, in order to give legitimacy to junk science and disproven theories.
He signed a bill declaring that your labor and life belong to the federal government, and requiring you to pony them up for federal use in exchange for the opportuinty to graduate high school and attend college. And you thought the 13th Amendment abolished slavery!
So no, contrary to Tony Bennetts slobbering commitment of love, I do not expect or even want all Americans everywhere to blindly support me in whatever I may do. I am not a king, I have no divine right to rule, nor is the sovereignty of the people invested in me.
You are your own soverign; I merely enforce those laws allotted to me, and leave everything else to you and the states in which you live.
Kentucky elections officer wants eligibility investigated
In a letter to Conway, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Leslie A. Fugate noted the issue of "President Barack Obama's eligibility to be on the ballot in Kentucky."
"Because our office does not have investigative powers … we are referring the matter to your office," he wrote.
I urge my collegue to acknowledge the rule of law, and to obey the spirit and the letter of the Constitution, and prove, definitively, whether or not he is a natural-born citizen of these United States.
About This Site
In November, 2008, the people of the United States of America elected a new president: Barack Hussein Obama.
Unfortunately, nobody seems to have bothered checking, before he was nominated for the position, whether he was actually eligible to be president. You see, the Constitution contains specific requirements which must be met in order to qualify for the position:
- No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;
- neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years,
- and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
And the fourth qualification is, of course, that the person must be elected to the office.
Barack is over 35 years old, and has lived in the United States for over 14 years, but has refused to prove that he is a natural-born citizen. Before I can take a new job, I have to prove, with official documents, that I am a citizen of the United States.
Yet Barack absolutely refuses to show his birth certificate, employs hordes of lawyers to fight every attempt to discover his true nationality, and and just galivants around the world as if he actually were the president!
Therefore, if he can be president simply by suppressing any records proving whether or not he is a natural-born citizen, I hereby declare that I am also the President of the United States, by suppressing all records pertaining to my election!
On this website, I will issue my decrees, opinions, and executive judgements on current events, Constitutional and legal issues, and most particularly, the actions of my illegitimate collegue.
