The White House orchestrated support, played to the support, and crowed about the support, used the front groups to fund advertising, and then used all that to convince real voters there was a groundswell of “support” for its proposals.

As Les Jones emphasises, "If our media wasn’t so ridiculously in the tank for Obama you’d hear about this on CNN instead of on blogs."

But then again, this is the same White House that boasts: "We 'control' news media".   The most "open administration ever" is the most closed about what they reveal, who they will reveal it to, and who they will allow to press conferences, town halls, and any other sort of media event.  They have declared war on Fox News, because that network does not cowtow to the party line.

One thing to remember:  The government will never trample the Constitution to your best interest.
