First Ted, and now this!

On April 8, 2009, in Article 1, Constitution, by The President

Article I Section 9 of the Constitution states “No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.”

Yet, even though it’s been a month since British Prime Minister Gordon Brown awarded knighthood to Seantor Teddy Kennedy (D-MA), Congress has yet to give consent to the award.

And now, Barack heads off to a G20 meeting, and goes down on bended knee to the Saudi king.  When you bow down to someone, particularly on bended knee, you show fealty, adoration, submissiveness, and respect to that person, perhaps even adulation.

As President of the United States, I am the elected servant of the people of the United States.  Let me assure my fellow Americans that no honor is greater than that of being your Executive, and I will show fealty to no foreign person or power; I serve solely the People, within the bounds proscribed within the Constitution.
